Exploring food through play is a fun and effective strategy to help children engage with new foods in a way that feels safe, silly, and pressure-free! 🍽️

By touching, smelling, squishing, or creating art with it, children can gradually build comfort and curiosity. This foundation supports improved feeding skills and more positive mealtime experiences over time. 🎨🥦

If your child struggles with picky eating or sensory challenges around food, occupational therapy may be a helpful support for your child! 🪁

This coming Tuesday is our first After Hours Adult Social for the season! Looking for a fun night with great company? Come connect, unwind, and enjoy an evening designed for adults with autism spectrum disorders. Expect laughter, games, pizza, and a welcoming space to just be yourself. 🍕🃏There is no registration required for this free event. If one-on-one assistance is needed, parents/caregivers are required to provide support.

🌟 One of our amazing SLPs, Sue, recently volunteered her time with Camp BEE, supporting children with apraxia. We’re so proud to have team members who are passionate about making a difference — both in and out of the clinic! 💬🐝

We want to thank ALL our incredible student SLPs and practicing SLPs who attended Camp BEE Year One! We had an amazing team of students who were deeply dedicated to our mission. Each child received one-on-one support from an SLP throughout the day to promote carryover of skills using the principles of motor learning for CAS, along with individualized sessions. 💙

Thank you so much— you are the ones helping our campers thrive. As someone with CAS myself, I wouldn’t be where I am today without speech therapy. So thank YOU for helping these campers fight for their voice! 🐝
