I love giving my patients and their families the solutions they need to live happier, healthier lives. I was frustrated that, despite treatments, which included expensive medications and procedures, many of my patients were STILL suffering. Through my years of research and practice, I created a blueprint for folks to live a life, where health and wellness are abundant. I wrote a book describing these principles and created a masterclass to help you learn them too! I look forward to sharing them with you as I do with thousands of patients in my practice. My team and I have started a Health Hero® movement. We would love for you to join us and we look forward to hearing your Health Hero® story

Dreaming of building domes on Mars is exciting, but the same creativity and effort can transform Earth. Restoring rivers, rebuilding soils, and revitalizing cities is possible through planting trees, protecting wetlands, using clean energy, and supporting local repair projects. Every action counts—kids deserve clean skies, safe streets, and thriving communities. Real change begins with small, steady choices in homes, schools, and local councils. When we act, hope grows. 🌎🌿

Experts are raising concerns about certain weight loss medications as new risks come to light. While these drugs can help with weight management, recent studies show potential side effects that patients and doctors need to be aware of.

Some of the risks include increased heart rate, digestive issues, and, in rare cases, serious cardiovascular problems. Experts emphasize that these medications are not a substitute for healthy lifestyle changes like diet and exercise.

Doctors are now recommending closer monitoring for anyone taking these drugs. This includes regular check-ins, tracking side effects, and adjusting doses if needed. Safety should always come first, even when the goal is weight loss.

If you are using or considering weight loss medication, it’s important to talk openly with your doctor about your health history and any concerns. Being informed can help you make safer decisions and avoid unexpected complications.

What do you think about these new findings on weight loss medications? Have you or someone you know experienced side effects?

The secret to staying cool isn’t more air conditioners—it’s reconnecting with the land. 🌿

Modern cities rely on AC to beat the heat, but concrete and asphalt trap it, creating “urban heat islands.” Trees, parks, and green spaces act as natural coolers, releasing moisture through transpiration and lowering temperatures.

Indigenous architectural principles show us how to design homes, streets, and neighborhoods in harmony with wind, sun, and water—using the landscape itself for ventilation and thermal regulation.

By restoring our connection to nature and prioritizing natural solutions, we can build cities that are resilient, sustainable, and healthier for both people and the planet.

A large study of more than 10,800 adults aged 70 and older found that people who listen to music most days have a significantly lower chance of developing dementia. Those who reported daily music listening had about a 39% lower risk of dementia compared with people who rarely or never listened. They also showed less general cognitive decline and better memory scores over time.

The research also looked at other music activities. People who regularly played a musical instrument had about a 35% lower dementia risk, and those who both listened and played music had roughly a 33% lower dementia risk and a 22% lower risk of other cognitive impairments.

These findings come from longitudinal aging studies tracking cognitive function and lifestyle factors. Importantly, this was an observational study, so it shows an association, not proof that music directly prevents dementia. But the strength and consistency of the link are notable.

What makes this interesting is that music engages multiple brain networks involved in memory, attention, and emotion. It’s a low-cost, low-risk activity that people can incorporate easily into daily life.

What do you think about using daily music listening as part of a brain health strategy as we age?
