May is National Stroke Awareness Month—a meaningful reminder that awareness can save lives.

By learning and sharing the B.E. F.A.S.T. warning signs, we empower ourselves and those around us to act quickly when it matters most. Early recognition and immediate response can significantly improve outcomes and support the best possible recovery.

At National Health Care Associates, we are proud to stand alongside our communities in promoting education, prevention, and compassionate, coordinated care—because improving outcomes starts with all of us, together.

Beauty Day was a hit yesterday, and the smiles said it all.

Residents enjoyed a little pampering with haircuts, fresh styles, and beautifully painted nails—it was a day full of relaxation, laughter, and feeling your best. Moments like these bring such a special kind of joy to our community.

A huge thank you to our amazing med techs, Oniajah and Zerenety, and to Gio for helping make the day so memorable. We appreciate all the care and effort you put into making everyone feel special!

Milkshake break = instant mood boost. 🥤

It didn’t take much—just a cold treat and a good spot to sit—for the room to fill with conversation and a few “that hit the spot” comments. Simple, refreshing, and exactly what the day called for.

Yesterday’s bubble painting brought out a lot of laughs—and a little friendly competition over who could make the coolest design. 🎨

You could hear the giggles as colors mixed, bubbles piled up, and each sheet of paper revealed something totally unexpected. Some went bold, some kept it simple, but every piece had its own personality.

It wasn’t just about the art—it was the shared laughs, the “look at this one!” moments, and the joy of getting a little playful together.

Stress Awareness Month is a meaningful reminder of how important it is to care for our mental and emotional well-being.

Stress Awareness Day gave us a fun and creative way to focus on wellness together. Residents enjoyed making balloon stress balls, turning a simple activity into a hands-on reminder that finding healthy ways to relax matters at every age.

Moments like these—filled with laughter, creativity, and connection—not only brighten the day but also play an important role in supporting overall well-being.

Your Voice. Your Care. Your Choice.

On Healthcare Decisions Day, we encourage residents and families to reflect on what matters most and start important conversations about future care.

Advance care planning helps ensure your wishes are understood, eases stress for loved ones, and allows your care team to support you in the way that matters most. While these conversations aren’t always easy, they can bring comfort and peace of mind.

Our team is here to help every step of the way.

Creativity was in full bloom during today’s art activity. 🌺

Residents had fun exploring different techniques as they painted beautiful flowers—some getting creative with the bottom of a water bottle to make unique stencils, while others brought their designs to life with a paintbrush. 🎨 It was a joyful mix of imagination, color, and a few shared laughs along the way.

Moments like these remind us that there’s always a new way to express creativity and enjoy time together.

Yesterday, we came together to recognize World Parkinson’s Day through a thoughtful and creative activity. Residents painted red tulips—the symbol of Parkinson’s awareness—while sharing stories, laughter, and meaningful conversation. 🌷

Beyond the artwork, the moment served as a reminder of the importance of raising awareness and deepening understanding of Parkinson’s disease. It’s a chance to support those living with it, honor their experiences, and continue building a community rooted in compassion and connection.

We’re grateful for opportunities like this to learn, reflect, and stand together in support.
