Shelvie Jean Nash, 89, of Troy, Missouri, went home to the Lord on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 in Troy, Missouri. She was born on September 30, 1936 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and was the daughter of the late Jewell and Elizabeth Louise (Hale) Plunk. She was united in marriage to Richard A. “Coach” Nash on May 26, 1956 and to this union three daughters were born. Richard preceded her in death on January 28, 2023.

He was born on February 23, 1944 in St. Paul, Missouri and was the son of the late William and Ursula (Halter) Stuckey. On June 5, 1971 at St. Theodore Catholic Church in Flint Hill, he married the love of his life, Laverne Pieper and to this union two sons and two daughters were born.

She was born on March 6, 1936 in St. Louis, Missouri and was the daughter of the late Albert and Eleanor (Johnson) Silhavy. On September 24, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri, she married the love of her life, William Lee Strawhun and he preceded her in death on November 8, 2013.
