Whether it happens in childhood or far into adulthood, it will happen, because no one can avoid the very natural human experience of loss and grief. As painful as it can be when it’s fresh, the way someone responds to it as time goes on, can make a big difference, good or bad, in how they function and feel in the future. It is possible for someone to still miss somebody they love and also find peace and joy in their life. Unfortunately, however, far too many people remain forever stuck in a cycle of pain, anger, fear, guilt, depression and/or disconnection. What if everyone knew that the disconnection experienced at death is just an illusion, and that the people we love and have lost are not gone, and that love is eternal? If I were to venture a guess, I suspect that a lot of people would feel and experience loss quite differently and there could be a lot more peace and joy in this world. Although fictional, this book tackles this concept beautifully and offers both validation and hope for those who grieve. Through a magic-like means and characters people can care about and root for, it also provides a glimpse into the past and how revisiting it can help someone heal. I’m excited to share my friend’s new book with you just in time for the holidays. I have provided links below and hope you will check it out and spread the word. While the book is currently only available in Amazon, it will be available on non-Amazon sutes like Barnes and Noble in the new year.
