Attending a holiday party thatโ€™s not your own can be difficult, especially when youโ€™re trying to eat healthily and are surrounded by indulgent treats.

Some tips you can abide by include:

๐Ÿ’–Socializing away from food
๐Ÿ’–Eating before you go
๐Ÿ’–Using a small plate

-2 cups cooked Brown Rice (prepared to package directions), chilled
-2 cups arugula
-1 15-ounce BPA-free can navy beans, drained and rinsed
-1 medium avocado, chopped

Our Story

Hi, my name is Lara May. I work with people just like you who are tired of going from doctor to doctor just to be told โ€œitโ€™s all in your headโ€, who are tired of feeling without direction or purpose, overwhelmed, tired, and constantly battling to keep up every day. I hold in the highest esteem the values of truth, honesty, and integrity. When I became a pharmacist I took a vow "to devote my professional life to the service of all humankind," and "consider the welfare of humanity and relief of human suffering my primary concerns." At this point in my career, I feel it is both a professional and spiritual obligation to bring the energetic evaluation back into healthcare. I believe health starts and ends with self awareness. Being aware of where we hold fear, anger, resentments, joy, and grace. Being aware of where we are committing our power and consequently losing our power. The journey of health and healing requires, first and foremost, traveling within. I am committed to improving the health of everyone I come in contact with, by incorporating spirituality into medicine. I am committed to optimizing healthcare, advancing patient and provider knowledge, and improving the well-being of our community.
