February is heart health month 💚Show your heart some kale love 🥬
Our hearts are working 24/7 for us, we should fuel it with foods that love it back 😋
💫Kale helps lower LDL with its fiber, filled with antioxidants to fight inflammation, high in potassium to help support blood pressure, and lots of vitamin k for vascular health.
Help your heart. Bake some kale chips!
You’ll need:
-1 bunch kale (washed and dried fully)
-2 tbsp olive oil
-1/4 is tsp sea salt
(You can add more flavor with garlic or pepper))
What to do:
1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F
2. Remove stems, cut cake into bite sized pieces
3. Message the leaves with olive oil
4. Spread the out into a baking sheet in a single layer
5. Sprinkle with salt and other flavors as desired
6. Bake for 15-20 minutes (ready when edges are crispy, but not brown)
