I’ve been on a bit of a mission in the past few months of picking up Perry cider, wherever I found them. And I’ve done this, not with the intention of being a collector per se, but of having an open house and Perry tasting at some point once spring finally gets here. The first picture on the left is them randomly arranged. The second picture of them is organized left to right by geography. I have Perrys from the Finger Lakes, the Hudson Valley, France, UK, Lithuania, and Denmark. And I am particularly indebted to for toting a small collection of Perry’s over the pond to Cidercon for me this past week. There are some they’re missing, in particular Perry, which I plan to pick up soon. I’ll also stop by the in Ithaca and see what they have from time to time. But if anyone has suggestions of Perry’s that I should be getting that I can get here in the US, and in particular close to Ithaca please let me know. Cheers! To all the great adventurous producers out there. .farmandcidery ….. I know I’m leaving some folks out so ….. sorry! Also, if you haven’t already read it yet, you really need to get book on Perry for perry drinkers!

I just returned from the 2026 Cidercon in Providence, Rhode Island. It’s my fourth Cidercon and like the previous three I have come away exhausted and energized at the same time for the future of cider. Kudos to all the amazing people that put this great event on and the experts with the knowledge and wisdom to keep advancing cider into its rightful place at the bar. .cider.association
