Our trip to the Aquarium & Shark Lab by Team E.C.C.O. in Hendersonville was a great way to immerse ourselves in life beneath the waves! This aquarium is definately a hidden secret that you will not want to miss!

White Oak Village at Tryon observed Veterans Day with a special ceremony, followed by a wine and cheese reception. We sang the National Anthem, recited the Pledge of Allegiance, acknowledged each resident who served, learned the significance of the folding of the American flag and concluded with a special address honoring the Veterans and their contributions to our country. We extend our gratitude to the men and women who served our great nation.

Halloween was a total hit at White Oak Village as the apartment and wellness team unleashed their inner ‘80s rock stars! With big hair, leather pants, and plenty of attitude, they brought serious AC/DC energy and rocked the day away.

Huge thanks to our amazing team for keeping the fun loud, the spirit high, and the good times rolling! 🤘🎤

🎃🕸️ Happy Halloween from White Oak Village! 🕸️🎃
What a spooktacular day we had celebrating with our residents! Everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch, lots of laughter, and some truly fang-tastic costumes. 🧛‍♂️🧙‍♀️👻
The fun continued with our Trunk or Treat, where residents, staff, and families came together to share candy, smiles, and Halloween cheer. 🍬
A huge thank-you to everyone who joined in and made the day so special — we loved celebrating this spooky season with our wonderful community! 🧡

The final day of the fall trip included a picturesque drive through the fall foliage, a visit to Barber Orchard to buy their delectable baked goods and apples, and shopping and lunch on Main St. in Waynesville. On the drive home, we were fortunate enough to spot a bear in a tree! Thank you Christy for your cautious driving on the mountain roads.

White Oak Village residents spent a leisurely day in Cherokee, taking in the elk, having lunch at Gordon Ramsay's, visiting the Museum of the Cherokee People and Oconaluftee Visitor Center, and finishing with dinner at Brio Italian Grille. Everyone is already contemplating their preferred destination for the spring trip!

Our fall trip got off to a tremendous start with a highly accomplished first day. We reveled in a glorious day on Lake Glenville, captivated by the resplendent fall colors, bald eagles, and an informative look into the lake's captivating past. The drive through the mountains to Cherokee concluded with a satisfying evening at Guy Fieri's Kitchen & Bar. Following a restful night, we are eager to embark on day two of our adventure.
