Serious post:
If you know anybody taking gabapentin, let them know that there's a 29% increase risk of dementia, and a 85% increase risk of MCI(mild cognitive impairment)
In the Non elderly study group (18-64yrs) The risk is doubled, in other wards the risk Increases to 58% for Dementia.
These drugs have been prescribed for at least a decade “off label”
There are a lot of vets who take it. There's a lot of diabetics who take it for neuropathy -patients are also given it for back pain, postop nerve pain etc.
If you or somebody you know is taking it, please do your own research and consider looking at all natural alternatives.
