GCA Fall Conference Presenter Spotlight: Dr. Thomas Ventimiglia, DC, FACC(h)

Dr. Ventimiglia will be joining us on Saturday, October 25, teaching “Ethics + Documentation + Boundaries = Improved Patient Outcomes.” Thank you to NCMIC for partnering with GCA to bring Dr. Ventimiglia to our conference!

A graduate of New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) and Fellow of the American College of Chiropractors, Dr. Ventimiglia served as dean of NYCC Department of Postgraduate and Continuing Education. In addition, he has served as the chairperson of the Association of Chiropractic Colleges, subcommittee on Postgraduate Education.

Dr. Ventimiglia coauthored "The Wellness Consultation: A Communication Model for Improved Patient Outcomes." That was presented at the NYCC Research Symposium in 2018. He was the principle investigator/conference director for the National Institutes of Health's National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine R-13 Conference Grant on "Conference on Chiropractic and Allopathic Integration."

Although retired from a private practice after 40 years, he remains active in the profession as a member of the NCMIC Speakers Bureau, the American Public Health Association's Chiropractic Health Care section, and the Federation of International Chiropractic Sports.

Dr. Talcott will be joining us on Friday, October 24, teaching “Changes to HIPAA and the New Administration.”

Dr. Ty Talcott is a Certified HIPAA Privacy and Security Expert, who consults thousands of healthcare practices relative to business development and protection.

He is a sought-after speaker who has led numerous seminars, performed as a keynote speaker, and has been featured on the cover of several magazines.

Dr. Samad will be joining us on Sunday, October 26, teaching “Comprehensive Management of Soft Tissue Injuries in Personal Injury Cases Including Diagnosis, Treatment, Management, and Documentation.”

Dr. Dawn Samad is a highly accomplished Business Leader with diverse expertise. As the visionary CEO and founder of Chiro Time Clinics Inc., Dr. Samad has established an exceptional chiropractic practice that spans four locations across Georgia. She franchised ChiroTime to become the first African American woman-owned franchisor in healthcare in Georgia and the first African American franchise founder in chiropractic in the country.

Recognizing the critical importance of compliance and safety within the transportation industry, Dr. Samad further established Express DOT Physicals. Through this venture, she and her proficient team offer Department of Transportation physicals to drivers, ensuring their adherence to state and federal regulations.

Driven by her passion for empowering healthcare professionals, Dr. Dawn Samad founded ChiroPreneurs, a national platform dedicated to training and mentoring practitioners and leaders within the healthcare industry.

Dr. Dawn Samad earned her esteemed Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University in Marietta, GA. GCA Fall Conference Presenter Spotlight: Dr. Guy Riekeman, DC

Dr. Riekeman will be joining us on Friday, October 24, teaching “This Is Not Your Father's Chiropractic.”

Guy F. Riekeman, D.C., was the fourth president of Life University in Marietta, Georgia, and is currently Chancellor Emeritus. He has exhibited critical leadership in the chiropractic profession for 5 decades with an uplifting vision, focused energy, and a wealth of practical experience. In a dynamically changing world, glutted with conflicting information and roiling with uncertainty, Dr. Riekeman demonstrates a unique ability to articulate meaning and inspire discipline for institutional, professional, and personal success.

Dr. Riekeman obtained his chiropractic degree with honors in 1972 from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Iowa. He became a chiropractic spokesman, extolling the chiropractic message through award-winning television, video, and audio productions. He is an author and has conducted 20 World tours for professionals and the public. As a leader in the chiropractic centennial celebration in 1995, he produced the nationally aired TV documentary “From Simple Beginnings."

Dr. Riekeman created companies and seminar programs to improve chiropractic practices and facilitate integrity-based personal growth. Following the founding of the groundbreaking patient education and research seminar, Renaissance, he founded QUEST MANAGEMENT in 1987, which became one of the largest and most widely acclaimed of such professional enterprises. Currently, he has produced the first-ever lifestyle app for patients/public called My Lifestyle iQ (MLiQ) and opened a flagship neuro-based state of the art clinic in Michigan, Chiropractic Lifestyle Studios.

Dr. Riekeman continues to be highly sought as a motivational speaker at both national and international programs.

GCA Fall Conference Presenter Spotlight: Dr. Morgan Mullican, DC, DACBN, CCN., DCBCN

Dr. Mullican will be joining us on Friday, October 24, teaching Chronic Diseases: “What Are the Top 5 Chronic Diseases and How They Affect Our Chiropractic Outcomes.” Thank you to Invisa-Red Technology for partnering with GCA to bring Dr. Mullican to our conference!

Dr. Mullican comes to us with a great deal of clinical and consulting experience. He is a 1988 honors graduate from Palmer College of Chiropractic. Before starting his practice in Dallas, Texas in 1989, he taught in the radiology department at Palmer College. He received his Diplomate in clinical nutrition in 1993, he completed his C.C.N Certified Clinical Nutritionist in 1996, and completed his Diplomate from the Chiropractic Board of Clinical Nutrition in 2013. He had one of the largest nutrition practices in Dallas for over 20 years. In 2022, he opened three Laser Weight Loss locations utilizing the invisa-RED laser, in Oklahoma, Mississippi, and Georgia, and runs them remotely today. He is one of the most sought-after speakers at Chiropractic Colleges and Chiropractic State Association meetings. He and his wife Dawn have 5 grown children and reside in Gainesville, Georgia.
