August has been so amazing on the back of an absolute dream July.

Here’s a few bits in the past 3 weeks to catch up:

1️⃣ Today is our 10 year anniversary 🥳🥹😍! May we continue to love hard, fill in our vision, and embody the exact legacy we desire 🙏🏾

2️⃣ 2 years ago, a week to the day, we rushed to the hospital in the middle of the night on MJ’s first day of school 10+2cm dilated... and you know the rest! Wishing my Joy Baby a happy birthday! Your effortless joy, dimple smiles, and warm cuddles just fills our hearts 🥰 !

3️⃣ 2 weeks ago our girls got baptized! I waited until my eldest really understood this faith commitment and declaration, and baybayyyy it was the RIGHT decision! She leads prayer, built a moral compass, uses faith based self-leadership, sings her praise and worship daily, and knows exactly who she is and whose she is. When I tell you MJ is so dynamic… I can’t believe she’s mine 🥹!

4️⃣ I’m booked to speak at 3 summits next month on Creating Safe Spaces using my DEI Framework! I’m super excited to make DEI simple to provide a higher level of service and care to ALL. Dets coming soon!

5️⃣ I got certified in Breathwork alongside my sister circle, which was so beautiful! I can’t wait to elevate my practice and spaces with it.

6️⃣ Self-Activation Sisterhood Aligned Accountability August Challenge has done us SOOOOO good. It has inspired me to elevate one of the most foundational pieces and client favs of my EPIC WOMAN FRAMEWORK: the Mindset Audit.

Happy Black Maternal Health Week 2025!

Motherhood taught me to surrender to the highest version of myself if I wanted to create a new legacy of empowered womanhood for my daughters.

Here’s the truth:

Your daughters are watching YOU.
Your sisters, nieces, friends are too!

Even if you don’t see them, generations of women - strangers included - are watching to follow your lead.

Here's some today's realness:

2025 has been the hottest, steamiest, not sure what's going on here cup of tea that I'm really not here to drink.

There's a lot of uncertainity.

Feeling tired, emotionally drained.

Frustrated with the blatant attack on diversity and inclusion.

Disrespectful targeting of us educated women of color in positions we rightly deserve, and are probably OVERQUALIFIED for and UNDERPAID

Meanwhile, we're authentically ambitious women of color no longer wanting to subscribe to this foolery.

We're done shrinking ourselves.
We're done dimming our light.

But we need some support of other like-minded women to unload this emotional baggage, and collect ourselves to create a NEW legacy of womanhood that's empowering, truly inspires us, and feels really aligned with us living FULL OUT.
