Good morning, Tucson. This Saturday, our community has an extraordinary opportunity — one that is free, powerful, and designed to shape the future of the young men who will one day lead our neighborhoods, our schools, and our city.
The Young Men’s Leadership Symposium, hosted by Strengthening Community, is bringing together mentors, educators, and leaders — including our very own Dr. Bernal, who will be volunteering his time to guide and inspire the next generation.
This event is open to young men in grades 7 through 12, and it’s completely free of charge. That’s right — no cost, no barrier, just a full day of mentorship, motivation, and real‑world leadership tools.
And this year’s keynote speaker is none other than Levi Wallace — retired NFL player, national champion, philanthropist, and proud Tucson native. His story alone is worth the trip.
It all happens this Saturday, April 18th, starting at 9 AM at Pima College on Stone Avenue.
Parents, coaches, teachers, community members — if you know a young man who could benefit from confidence, direction, and positive role models, this is the moment. Share this. Tag someone. Spread the word. Opportunities like this don’t come around often, and they certainly don’t come free.
Let’s fill that room. Let’s invest in our young men. Because when we do, we strengthen families, schools, and entire communities.
