Sharing some of my bio hacking tools. I’m recovering from a meniscus tear on my knee and tear on my calf, plus some other injuries on the same leg. I must admit it caused a lot of uncertainty and pain. Now I’m back full swing. Just did full body cryotherapy at Icebox Cryotherapy - Tucson and compression therapy. Feeling relaxed now. Been doing cold showers for years now but being in the box below -100F is the next level.

Recommended exercise is 30 minutes 5x per week of moderate intensity or 75
minutes of high intensity exercise divided in the week. Since my family decided to take a nap all at the same time, it’s time to move!

Wellness Starter Guide: 1) A study has shown that watching the news for 7 minutes gives you 26% chance of having a bad day. Same idea with listening to music with a negative message.
2) It’s tough to be positive if you’re in a slump. If you’re moving backward, you need to stop first before moving forward. This can be done by stopping the negative thoughts and self-talk first.
3) Eat foods high in tryptophan. The building block of serotonin- the hormone that gives us a steady mood. There are plenty of foods that can do this. Start with eating a handful of walnuts.
4) Stressful events ( traffic, work) can trigger anxiety without even us knowing it. Things like clenching our jaw/shoulder, pounding heart or mind racing . Doing breathing exercises tells your brain that you are in control of your mood or any situation. I like recommending 4-7-8 techniques for starters. Stay safe and WELLTHY!
