Great time for all my fellow therapists to clean their offices!!

We know we've been coming at you with lots of dates lately - but TWO DAYS after our August member meeting we're coming at you with a Shredathon! A $25 donation to the Chamber Foundation (supporting LGBTQ students at the UofA) will grant you access to the fire of Mount Doom for all those sensitive papers you've been letting pile up in your closet/office/file cabinet. Alright, it's not Mount Doom it's the fine folks from Beacon Group. BUT STILL!

Make like Marie Kondo and get rid of all of it, for a good cause! 80's tunes and refreshments, plus selfies with mullet-costumed board members will all be cherries on the sunday. 8/20, 10-noon, 3450 S Broadmont Dr. (just N of the DMV at Palo Verde & Ajo). $25 dollar donation suggested.

As a former crisis line operator, I can tell you, calling sooner rather than later is always better. Getting support, advice, resources, and empathy was what the majority of callers needed, not just immediate crisis services. You can call for yourself, about a loved one, or even as a professional needing resources. Having this new 988 makes it so much easier than finding the right line for your area. Take care of yourselves!! 9️⃣8️⃣8️⃣

I cannot express how lucky I am to be able to meet amazing folx like Elena through the Tucson LGBT Chamber of Commerce. She was a wonderful host and I hope you get a chance to listen to our discussion and to the past episodes with amazing guests!

Last week I made a joke during my presentation that I was employee of the month for the past 3 months, but the truth is, I've lost to this bug every month. 😭This is what happens when you let the kids vote. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Today’s comes from our own graduate of the beginner’s class . Thanks to Jeremy and Jen, this nugget managed to work on some much needed manners and impulse control!! We can’t wait to keep learning in the next class. Here’s hoping we get our dogtorate in good behavior eventually! 🐶🐾👨🏼‍🎓
