On weekends, I’ve been making it my goal to lift weights all three days - Friday, Saturday, Sunday. This way, during the week I only have to go to the gym one day to lift weights and another weekday I run outside. I don’t go to the gym on Mondays because it’s crowded and I use that day to dedicate the whole day to school work. This is my workout plan that works for me at this moment in my life.
Why am I telling you this? Because I want you to know that healthy routines are made to complement and support your life. HOWEVER, you have to find a way to make it work - the same way you prioritize your work, your school, your family etc - you have to prioritize your self… at the end of the day , you only have your health.
Follow a schedule that works for your life, be realistic, AND STICK TO IT. Remember: SOMETHING is better than NOTHING. If you have any questions comment below ⬇️
PS. Weekends are a great time to get the recommended 2 day-minimum of strength training that every healthy adult needs. GET IT DONE THIS WEEK 💪🏼
