The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) recently announced it is seeking feedback on ways it can increase transparency and improve policies related to Medicare Advantage.

CMS is particularly interested in information and suggested data collection methods related to:
-Prior authorization and utilization management
-Provider directories and networks
-Care and quality outcomes
-Healthy competition in the marketplace
-Supplemental benefits

This request for information (RFI) seeks input from the public regarding various aspects of Medicare Advantage (MA) data. Responses to this RFI may be used to inform general efforts to strengthen Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services' (CMS') MA data capabilities and guide policymaking.
