NOTICE OF A CLASS-ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST STATE OF ARIZONA. OVER FRAUDULENT SOBER LIVING HOMES ON BEHALF OF ALL NATIVE AMERICANS IN ARIZONA INJURED

The BrewerWood Law Firm in Phoenix has filed a class action lawsuit in Superior Court in Maricopa seeking monetary damages for thousands of Native Americans across Arizona who were victimized by the fraudulent sober living home schemes, which stole $2.8 billion from Arizona taxpayers, according to allegations in the lawsuit.

BrewerWood Law Firm filed its class-action complaint (see link) against two state agencies, the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) for allegedly enabling the fraud by paying the fraudsters and the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) for failing to catch and stop the fraud from occurring.

Fraudulent billing for behavioral health services grew from $43 million to $2.8 billion, according to the lawsuit, resulting in a humanitarian crisis after the state cracked down on facilities across Arizona believed to be involved in the scheme preying on Native American Medicaid members.

If the Superior Court certifies the case to proceed forward as a class action representing all of the Native Americans in Arizona who were damaged, the listed Plaintiffs will be able to litigate the case as representatives of the entire class of victims. Generally, when this occurs in a case, all injured parties are represented by the attorneys in the case, unless you opt out of the class and decide to pursue your own lawsuit.

For more information, the BrewerWood law firm website is https://www.brewerwood.com/ and the contact number is: (602) 254-9813.
