Dr. Keene, President of Physician's Hair Institute, specializes in hair restoration surgery including FUE and FUT. Medical treatments for androgenetic alopecia are also available, including prescriptions for Finasteride, Minoxidil, Spironolactone, and others. Recent additions to our services include Rigenera, which involves removing small biopsies from where you have permanent hair, using a device to separate the cells, then reinjecting them into areas of thinning to help strengthen and regrow thinning hair--this is called autologous cell therapy. Just one treatment can results in a visible improvement in hair growth and caliber after a few months. We also offer Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), which involves drawing your blood, centrifuging it to obtain growth factors, then injecting the PRP into your scalp where you have hair loss. We recommend starting with 3 PRP treatments spaced a month apart, then wait for 6 months to see the difference. We also offer scalp micro-pigmentation, a non surgical option for creating the illusion of density by adding small tattoo dots to the scalp to mimic the look of individual shortly cropped hairs. A new treatment for hair loss, Alma Ted, is now available at Physician’s Hair and Skin Rejuvenation!

No needles. No discomfort. No trauma to the scalp.

Alma TED uses proprietary ultrasound technology combined with air pressure. When paired with the TED+ Hair Care Formula, Alma TED helps improve the appearance of hair, resulting in thicker, fuller-looking hair with increased shine and strength.

What should I expect?
Alma TED is a quick, 20–25-minute treatment. You’ll notice improvement as early as one month following your first treatment. We recommend starting with 3 treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart for optimal results.

Is the treatment painful?
No, the treatment should not be painful. You can expect to feel a warm sensation from the device and a ringing sound through the course of the treatment, but there is no pain involved.

How soon can I expect to see results?
You can expect to see minor results after one treatment, but it is recommended to have at least three treatments one month apart for optimal results.

Dr. Keene is board certified by the American Board of Surgery, and has specialized in hair transplants for over 20 years. Her clinic, Physician’s Hair Institute, utilizes state-of-the-art equipment and techniques in hair transplant surgery. She offers all forms of donor removal methods, including follicular unit excision (FUE), FUE from body hair, follicular unit transplant (FUT) using the linear excision donor removal method and dissection under video magnification, or a combination of both FUT and FUE to maximize graft numbers in a single session. She will work with you to help you decide what to choose for your situation based on your preferences, donor availability, and goals. Dr. Keene excels at creating a completely natural hair line undetectable as a hair transplant. We also do eyebrows, mustaches, and beards too!

Physicians Hair Institute also offers non surgical treatments for hair loss including medication, platelet rich plasma (PRP), scalp micropigmentation (SMP), and eyebrow microblading. Dr Keene also offers a diagnosis appointment based on lab tests, particularly for women, or when hair loss doesn’t fit the male pattern hair loss pattern.
