Here's a quick guide to help you decide where to go based on your symptoms:
Your P*P (Primary Care Provider) – Lowest cost
Best for: Cold & flu, allergies, minor infections, stomach/back pain, medication refills, wellness visits.
Call your P*P to schedule.
Urgent Care – Moderate cost
Best for: Headaches, sore throat, nausea, minor cuts/burns, sprains, infections, cold and flu symptoms.
Walk-in, no appointment needed
Emergency Room – Highest cost
Best for: Chest pain, trouble breathing, stroke symptoms, serious injuries, seizures, suicidal thoughts.
Call 911 or go to the nearest ER.
