Nurses — we see you. We truly see you.
In the face of the Department of Education’s decision to no longer recognize nursing as a “professional degree,” we are angry. We are disappointed. But more than anything, we are grateful — deeply, fiercely grateful—for the strength, resilience, and heart that nurses bring to healthcare every single day.
This move isn’t just about dollars and loans (though that’s a huge part of it). It’s about how this undercuts the value of a profession built on compassion, science, and sacrifice. It sends the wrong message. At a time when the world needs nurses more than ever, reclassifying advanced nursing degrees feels like a step backward — not just in policy, but in respect.
But let me be clear: Dynamic Muscle supports you, champions you, and respects the hell out of you.
You’re on the front lines of care. You’re working 12-hour shifts, holding people’s hands, advocating for patients, and showing up even when it's emotionally and physically exhausting.
You’re academically rigorous. Nurse practitioners, nurse educators, DNPs — these aren’t just degrees. These are years of study, clinical hours, and constant learning.
You’re essential. Without you, the backbone of healthcare shakes. Your absence would be disastrous for patients, for hospitals, and for communities.
We know what you do matters — and the fact that policy might try to say otherwise doesn’t change that. You are professionals. You are healers. You are the strength that holds people up in their darkest hours.
To every nurse reading this: thank you. Thank you for your compassion. Thank you for your perseverance. Thank you for choosing a path that demands so much, gives so much, and still, you keep carrying on.
Dynamic Muscle stands with you. We honor you. And we will keep using our platform, our voice, and everything we’ve got to support nurses — because the world is better when you’re empowered, honored, and fully supported.
You deserve more than recognition. You deserve investment. You deserve respect. And you deserve nothing less.
