Pre-Health Professions Advising provides advising services to University of Arizona students in all majors planning to pursue a health profession. Our advisors help students explore interests, skills, and goals and examine academic requirements for entrance to professional schools in medicine, dentistry, physical therapy, physician assistant studies and other health related professions. Individual advising, workshops, and informational resources are available to students and alumni as they prepare for the health professional school admission process.

Become a Project FOCUS Peer Mentor and help create an inclusive campus community!

As a peer mentor, you’ll:
• Support students (ages 18–22) with intellectual and developmental disabilities 🤝
• Help them navigate classes, internships, and campus life 🎓
• Gain valuable hands-on experience and earn 3 internship credits per semester 💼

📅 Details:
• 9–10 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 9 AM–4 PM)
• Must have at least 12 hours of availability for scheduling flexibility
• Training provided at the start of the semester and ongoing through D2L
• No prerequisites required
