Please Welcome Andrea Craig, DNP, FNP-BC, to El Dorado Internal Family Medicine.

Andrea Craig, DNP, FNP-BC (she/her) is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with nearly 15 years of experience as a registered nurse, plus additional years in healthcare through volunteer work and a strong family legacy in medicine. Inspired by her mother, a nurse, and her grandparents, a physician and a nurse, she developed an early and enduring commitment to patient care.
Throughout her nursing career, Andrea has built a broad clinical foundation and a deep commitment to patient-centered care. She is especially passionate about women’s health, focusing on the early detection of breast and cervical cancer. She is dedicated to empowering patients through education, prevention, and open collaborative relationships that support both immediate and long-term health goals. She is an advocate for inclusive, affirming care for all patients. She will see patients of all ages.

Welcome to ACP Madison!

Family Nurse Practitioner Madison will be joining Ocotillo Family Medicine on March 1, 2026, and we’re thrilled to have her on our team.

Madison earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Northern Arizona University. Since 2020, she has dedicated her career to caring for the veteran population in the VA intensive care unit, an experience that sparked her strong passion for preventing and managing chronic illness to help patients avoid hospitalization. She further cultivated this passion while working in family practice with the geriatric community in Green Valley, where she focused on health promotion and comprehensive primary care.
Originally from Colorado, Madison has called Tucson home since 2013 and has grown to love the area’s culture and close-knit community.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, and traveling. We’re excited to welcome Madison to Ocotillo Family Medicine and look forward to all she’ll bring to our patients and community. She will see patients 16 years of age and older.

Please Welcome Dr. Sparkes to Aria Internal/Family Medicine
Dr. Stephanie Sparkes is a board-certified family medicine physician with several years of experience providing comprehensive care to adult patients. She began practicing at Northwest Medical Center Sahuarita upon her arrival in Tucson, where she cared for individuals across a wide range of adult and geriatric health needs.

Dr. Sparkes earned her medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine and completed her Family Medicine residency at the Indiana University School of Medicine at Memorial Hospital in Jasper, Indiana. Her training and clinical experience include preventive care, obesity and diabetes management, women’s health, clinical dermatologic procedures, adult and geriatric medicine, and inpatient hospital care.

She is known for her compassionate, thorough, and patient-centered approach, with a strong emphasis on building lasting patient-physician relationships, clear communication, and shared decision-making. Dr. Sparkes focuses on understanding each patient’s medical history and partnering with them to develop individualized care plans that support long-term health and well-being. She will see patients 18 years of age and older.

Welcoming Dr. Justin Kim to Tucson Family Medicine!

Justin Kim is a Family Medicine physician with a special interest in preventative care, weight management, and osteopathic manipulative treatments. Grounded in the philosophy of osteopathic medicine, Dr. Kim focuses on the interconnectedness of the body and is committed to wholistic care that includes helping patients improve their mental and physical health.

Dr. Kim graduated from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in Family Medicine at El Rio Community Health in Tucson, Arizona.

In his free time, he enjoys traveling, being active and spending time with family and friends. He will see patients 4 years of age and older.

Dr. Mei So will be joining Sonora Family Practice Monday October 20, 2025.

Dr. Mei So grew up in Yuma, Arizona. She moved to Tucson for college and received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Arizona. She later earned her medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix and completed internal medicine residency at Banner University Medical Center-Tucson.

Dr. Mei So believes that health and healing is a collaborative effort between the patient, their family, and the medical team. She will see patients 18 years and older.

As the holidays approach, choosing the right level of care for your situation can save you both time and money. Don’t assume the emergency room is your only option.

Here's a quick guide to help you decide where to go based on your symptoms:

Your P*P (Primary Care Provider) – Lowest cost
Best for: Cold & flu, allergies, minor infections, stomach/back pain, medication refills, wellness visits.
Call your P*P to schedule.

Urgent Care – Moderate cost
Best for: Headaches, sore throat, nausea, minor cuts/burns, sprains, infections, cold and flu symptoms.
Walk-in, no appointment needed

Emergency Room – Highest cost
Best for: Chest pain, trouble breathing, stroke symptoms, serious injuries, seizures, suicidal thoughts.
Call 911 or go to the nearest ER.

Save time and money by choosing the right care for your situation. In an emergency, always call 911!
