Dr. Elman-Shina has a private practice in Holon, Israel.

"I'm Karin Elman-Shina, a cognitive neurologist (MD) with more than a decade of clinical experience. In my practice, Personalized Neurology, I integrate functional and environmental medicine with conventional neurology, including advanced approaches for cognitive decline such as the Bredesen protocol. My work centers on uncovering the root causes of neurocognitive symptoms—whether infectious, toxic, metabolic, or lifestyle-related—and I collaborate closely with neuropsychologists, nutritionists, and occupational therapists to provide comprehensive care.

I also lead the Neurocognitive Rehabilitation Unit at the Sagol Center for Hyperbaric Medicine in Israel, where I oversee clinical care and research focused on prodromal Alzheimer’s disease and related cognitive disorders, with particular emphasis on environmental and infectious contributors such as mold exposure and chronic infections. He graduated from UC Santa Barbara in molecular biology and received his medical degree from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California.
