"I'm Karin Elman-Shina, a cognitive neurologist (MD) with more than a decade of clinical experience. In my practice, Personalized Neurology, I integrate functional and environmental medicine with conventional neurology, including advanced approaches for cognitive decline such as the Bredesen protocol. My work centers on uncovering the root causes of neurocognitive symptoms—whether infectious, toxic, metabolic, or lifestyle-related—and I collaborate closely with neuropsychologists, nutritionists, and occupational therapists to provide comprehensive care.

Dr. Rieders is a triple-board-certified cardiologist with distinction in moving his patients from disease to health. He graduated from UC Santa Barbara in molecular biology and received his medical degree from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Rieders completed his cardiology fellowship at VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, formerly the UCLA-VA Medical Center.

He has practiced for over three decades in both private clinics and as a faculty member at USC Cardiology. A decade ago, Dr. Rieders explored the connection between the six different types of health; our physical, financial, mental, emotional, and spiritual health and the health of all our relationships.
