"Our team at the Functional Medicine Center of New Jersey, believe that inflammation from lifestyle and stress is often the root cause of the conditions that plague our patients’ minds and bodies. Dr. Bauerschmidt is the Founder and Medical Director of Deeper Healing in Charleston, South Carolina.

"Dr. Bauerschmidt received his Medical Degree from Ohio State University, was residency trained in Family Practice, and board certified in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Bauerschmidt spent more than 22 years in Emergency Medicine and served as the Medical Director of Emergency Services at Imperial Point Medical Center in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He is certified in Chelation Therapy by the American College for the Advancement in Medicine and completed a year-long Fellowship in Environmental Medicine. Currently, he is a faculty member and on the Advisory Panel for the Environmental Medicine Education Institute (EMEI) where he teaches other medical practitioners the clinical applications of Environmental Medicine."

Dr. Elman-Shina has a private practice in Holon, Israel.

"I'm Karin Elman-Shina, a cognitive neurologist (MD) with more than a decade of clinical experience. In my practice, Personalized Neurology, I integrate functional and environmental medicine with conventional neurology, including advanced approaches for cognitive decline such as the Bredesen protocol. My work centers on uncovering the root causes of neurocognitive symptoms—whether infectious, toxic, metabolic, or lifestyle-related—and I collaborate closely with neuropsychologists, nutritionists, and occupational therapists to provide comprehensive care.
