Yesterday, Marana Health had the opportunity to welcome U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Administrator Engels, and Congressman Juan Ciscomani to our Marana Main clinic.
Secretary Kennedy and Administrator Engels announced a $135 million federal investment to expand nutrition services and bolster the rural health workforce. These targeted investments will expand access, help prevent chronic disease, improve access to care across communities, and support new rural residency programs nationwide.
"Moments like this don't happen by chance," said CEO Josh Carzoli. "They are built through the daily work of our teams and our commitment to being visible advocates for our patients and our community."
We are proud to serve Southern Arizona, and proud to show the people shaping health policy what community health looks like up close.
