Wednesday 09/25 the night before flying out to Germany I attended the Women's Empowerment Event invited by Sarah Eschenbrenner and Kim Garcia. OF COURSE I would make time for this inspirational evening with successful women leaders sharing their stories, tips and esp. their wisdom. Most of all was, the HUGE opportunity to share Sarah and Kim with the young woman I brought to this event ... their WISDOM for us meant the most! I have such a grateful heart ~ I'm thankful for their friendship and support. We are already looking forward to NEXT year's event - we will fill a table this time!

Traditions: Don’t you love a good cheese and meat board! My kids have perfected the Charcuterie experience so this thanksgiving I sent this one to Henry and Grace - my grandkids ❣️passing on the tradition starts with your own board.

Toenails. Feet. Seniors and their foot care.
I help teach a Sports Medicine III class, pre health students. I talk about their future patients and how FEET can tell you so much about a person’s wellness. While getting my pedicure today I asked Simone to talk about 5 things she wished the public knew about foot health… I asked the right person! She identifies well as a foot-nerd! Here is one subject we spent some time on: telling a client the line they see on their nail is cancer.

For years, Maria Sylvia thought the streak on her nail was a mole. A biopsy revealed it became a subungual melanoma and her nail needed to be removed.

My uncle William FLORES - back in the day - 1960’s helped establish Central Arizona College. He had a Master’s Degree- unheard of for Hispanic men - what a tribute to education everything Uncle Bill did for access to College in Pinal County.
