Job Type: 30-40 Hr work week. Eligible for Health Insurance, sick pay, and PTO.
Monday 8-5:15pm
Tuesday 8-3:15pm
Wednesday 8-6:15pm
Thursday OFF

Qualifications
Job Responsibilities:
Assists in the assessment of patient needs and health plan by taking vital signs, updating history, and medication listing.
Assesses visual acuity, physical status, mental status, and determines chief complaint.
Completes all necessary documentation in the patient’s medical record.
Prepares equipment and assists providers with medical treatments, exams and medical procedures.
Administers prescribed oral medications and gives intramuscular and subcutaneous and intradermal injections(Medical Assistant only).
CLIA-Waived and non-CLIA Waived lab testing.
Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe environment for patients and visitors, including cleaning, sterilizing, and storing instruments in accordance with practice policies.
Stocks rooms in preparation for the daily work schedule, including maintaining inventory of medical and exam room supplies.
Arranges for specialized consultations and appointments for testing as ordered by the provider, including notification of appropriate insurance personnel for necessary Prior Authorization.
Assists the front desk in answering office phones, scheduling appointments, and directing calls appropriately.
Assists in checking in/out patients and supports patients with referral processing and the scheduling process.
Daily and weekly cleaning duties shared with other staff.
