I highly recommend a daily breathing practice. Pick something that works for you. Keep it simple until the practice feels natural and vital and then explore other techniques.
Kitaro Waga offers a really beautiful explanation of why intentional breathing is helpful. I think we already know why we all need this today. Understanding and utilizing breath interventions can be so supportive in today’s overwhelming and anger/frustration/helplessness-causing political and social climate. These times we’re living in are quite literally intended for self-responsibility and awakening. Get interested in your own process and let go of what’s not yours.
