✨ October was a month of Connection, Care, and Community! ✨

This past month, we were proud to come together for some incredible causes and celebrations! We kicked off with the Alzheimer’s Walk💜and ALS Walk🧡, where our team walked to raise awareness and support those affected by these important causes. Together, we took steps toward a brighter future!

We also celebrated Case Manager Week and Rehab Week to show our appreciation for the amazing professionals who dedicate their hearts to care, advocacy, and recovery. Thank you for all you do! 💙💪

And to top it all off, we had a spooky-fun Trunk or Treat for Halloween! 🎃👻 Our team and community enjoyed a day full of costumes, candy, and smiles.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in these events. Here’s to making a difference together and sharing these special moments with our community!

🍂✨It’s Fall Prevention Awareness Week!🌟

As the leaves change, let’s also change the way we think about safety. Falls can happen to anyone, but together we can prevent them! Here are a few tips to keep yourself and loved ones safe this season:
1. Clear clutter: Keep walkways and staircases free of obstacles.
2. Good lighting: Insure all areas are well lit, especially at night.
3. Wear the right shoes: Choose footwear that provides good support and traction.
4. Stay active: Regular exercise improves balance and strength.
5. Get regular check ups: Vision and medication reviews can make a big difference!

Since then we’ve assisted 7,000 of our elderly to age in place, find homes, and created a foundation to help those in need!

We at Placita in Home Care are incredibly grateful for the wonderful meeting we recently had with Interim Home Health and their magnificent team. The opportunity to collaborate and continue working together is truly invaluable. Serving a diverse population in elder care is a privilege, and we are thankful for the dedication of Interim Home Health's physical therapists, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, and front-line office team. Their contributions have been invaluable, and we look forward to the positive impact we can continue to create together.

📣 Exciting News! Just attended the PASRS 2023 Annual Conference and it was an incredible experience! 🎉

The conference brought together a diverse group of like-minded professionals in the senior care industry, creating the perfect platform for networking and collaboration. It was truly wonderful to connect with passionate individuals who share the same dedication to improving the lives of our elder community.

One highlight of the event was the opportunity to share valuable information about Placita in Home Care Services while networking. Serving both Tucson and the entire Phoenix valley, Placita offers exceptional placement and home care services.

Moreover, there were enlightening discussions about recent legislative changes that are positively impacting the profession. New laws and regulations were shared, highlighting the commitment of the industry to enhance the quality of care provided to seniors and improve the overall assisted living communities.

The conference left everyone feeling inspired and motivated to continue raising the bar in senior care. The knowledge shared and connections made at PASRS 2023 Annual Conference have undoubtedly contributed to the betterment of the elder community and the assisted living industry as a whole.
