Cursive is back — and our residents are part of the story!

Local students from Lineweaver Elementary School have been practicing their penmanship as pen pals with our residents here at The Hacienda at the Canyon. This intergenerational connection is helping keep the art of handwriting alive while giving students, and our community, something truly special to look forward to.

Our Gardens' Members took an Extraordinary Outing to the theater. From the first note to the final bow, My Fair Lady at Saguaro City Music Theater was absolutely enchanting! Our Hacienda at the Canyon members had a wonderful time celebrating local talent and timeless music.

The Hacienda at the Canyons members and associates collected over 20 meal kits and 5 giant additional boxes of food for the students and families of . (You can see the stuffed truck, but Missy's car's back seat and passenger seats were full, too!!) Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at the Canyon!

Each Saturday, members gather at our bocce court for games, keeping our members active and connected at Hacienda at the Canyon. They are gearing up to participate in the Tucson Senior Olympics again in 2026!

Our "Memories of a Lifetime" readings from our Memories to Memoir Watermark University class were truly special - two sessions, each one rich with personal history, courage, and connection.
