My name is Gloria Mathiesen, and I am a licensed professional counselor for both the states of Arizona and Ohio, and I specialize in trauma. I have had the pleasure in working within inpatient recovery programs and private practices that focus on trauma with both professions. I bring all that clinical experience into my classes and workshops. My passion and focus are bridging the mind and body and sharing my clinical experience throughout my development. I continue my own professional development with advanced, evidence-based trainings and attending conferences and seminars that are hosted by some of the top trauma pioneers. I feel very fortunate to be a part of someone's healing journey and wouldn't want to be doing anything else.

Hello beautiful people and happy Friday!

I wanted to get a feel out there to see if anyone would be interested in a 200-YTT (Yoga Teacher Training) Program that is trauma informed. I have been a massage therapist for over 30 years, and I am also an LPCC and LPC for the states of Ohio and Arizona and practice as a trauma specialist. My YTT program is also NCBTMB approved for CE and accredited with Yoga Alliance.

You have the option to participate live in Dublin, Ohio or virtual via Zoom. I am thinking of starting it this September/October.

This class gives you a solid introduction to cupping therapy as a soft tissue technique. You will get an overview of the methods and why they are used. Learn about the history, the cups themselves, the indications and contraindications, and how to use cupping on your clients. Cups are provided as part of your tuition.
