Hello colleagues!
Do you have a client or know someone with a disability or who is neurodivergent between the ages of 14-22?
If so, there is a great opportunity for fun and interactive social connection starting monthly in February that I want to share with you and your community.

Garrett Larribas has an M.A, and has been teaching fine arts and providing services and support to people of all ages with disabilities and who are neurodivergent, in a multitude of settings, for over 10 years.

The clients Garrett has worked with have benefited from access to inclusive fine arts and social connection with peers in fun, creative and therapeutically beneficial classes.

Morning Mood Boosters: Start Your Day Right! 🌞

Start your day off right with these morning habits that will give your mood a major boost! πŸ˜„

Gratitude Journaling: Take a moment to jot down three things you're grateful for. It sets a positive tone for the day!

Morning Stretch: Gently stretch your body to wake up your muscles and increase blood flow. It's an instant mood lifter!

Healthy Breakfast: Fuel your body with a nutritious protein packed breakfast. It's like giving your mood and body a supercharge! Also remember to hydrate!

Mindful Meditation: Spend a few minutes in quiet reflection or meditation to calm your mind and reduce stress.

Positive Affirmations: Repeat some positive affirmations to yourself. You are amazing, and you've got this!

Connect with Nature: If possible, step outside and soak up some natural light and fresh air. It does wonders for your mood!

Plan Your Day: Organize your tasks and set realistic goals. A clear plan reduces stress and increases productivity.

Starting my day with a powerful morning ritual that sets the tone for positivity and self-love! πŸ’–

Here's a simple practice to try when you wake up:

Place one hand on your heart, and the other hand on your abdomen πŸ™. Take deep, mindful breaths to feel the support of your bed. πŸ›Œβœ¨

While doing this, be kind to yourself. Thank your body for all it does for you.

Think about the things you're grateful for and set an intention for the day ahead. 🌈 Your intention can be as simple as:

🌻 "I will do the best I can to be kind to myself."
🌟 "I will connect to gratitude and release negative thoughts with more helpful thoughts."
🌞 "I have all I need to make this day okay."

Let's kickstart our day with love and positivity! πŸ’ͺ✨
