We’re still feeling the magic from this year’s Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation Out Brunch 💫

Because of an incredible community of supporters — including generous sponsors like Desert Diamond Casino, Ravin Consultants, Avita - QCare, Jewish Philanthropies of Southern Arizona, Crest Insurance, Farhang Medcoff, and Long Realty Cares — the room was filled with energy, connection, and a shared commitment to this vital work.

We’re thrilled to share a preliminary total of $220,000 raised, including an extraordinary $100,000 matching gift from the Buehler Family Foundation. This milestone reflects what’s possible when a community comes together with purpose and heart.

Every dollar raised helps ensure that people across Southern Arizona have access to compassionate care, prevention services, housing support, and advocacy. The impact of this morning will be felt far beyond brunch.

We are so grateful to everyone who showed up, gave generously, and continues to stand with us. 💙

More photos and our final total coming soon… stay tuned!

About Us

The Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation (SAAF) formed in 1997 as the result of a merger of three Tucson-based AIDS service organizations. In November 2014, SAAF acquired Wingspan, Southern Arizona’s LGBT Community Center. SAAF’s mission is to “cultivate a healthy and stigma-free society through transformative action.” Collectively, through its predecessor agencies, SAAF has served the community for more than 30 years by providing services to enhance the health and quality of life for those living with and affected by HIV/AIDS and to assist people in preventing HIV, Substance Abuse, Hepatitis C, and other Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs). SAAF continually works to meet the needs of the LGBTQ+ community, and focuses on evidence-based prevention programs to reach at-risk populations.
