Camp Abilities Tucson Join us for CAT ‘26, June 7-13, at the Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind! Camp is hosted at the Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind in early June each year.

Camp Abilities Tucson is an educational sports camp for individuals with visual impairments ages 7and older. Camp Abilities Tucson is an overnight program that introduces children to a variety of sports, including swimming, golf, soccer, goalball, beep baseball, horseback riding, and strength training. The purpose of the camp is to empower children to be physically active, improve their overall health and wellness, encourage them to make food choices that support an active lifestyle, and develop their confidence and self-esteem through sport and physical activity. Participants benefit from low coach to athlete ratios throughout the week.

Camp Abilities Tucson
June 7-13, 2026
AZ School for the Deaf & Blind

Camp Abilities is an overnight educational sports camp for children and young adults ages 7 and older who are blind, deafblind, or have multiple disabilities including visual impairment.

Camp activities: beep baseball, swimming, horseback riding, hiking, soccer, and more including: strength training, archery, golf, and basketball

Our goal: The purpose of the camp is to empower young people with visual impairments to be physically active, improve their overall health and wellness, encourage them to make food choices that support an active lifestyle, and develop their confidence and self-esteem through sport and physical activity.

Our programs:
Youth Camp (ages 7-17)
Adult Camp (ages 18+)
Coach in Training (ages 15-17)

amp Abilities Tucson is an overnight camp experience that introduces children to a variety of sports, including swimming, beep baseball, goalball, tandem biking, bowling, and golf. Athletes receive one-on-one instruction during all physical activities and events.
