Desert Mountain Counseling LLC has a new therapist and new availability with several of our other therapists.

We are a small group of Arizona trauma-informed, neurodiversity affirming, and social justice-oriented social work therapists providing evidence-based therapy for adults and adolescents. We offer telehealth in AZ and have some providers in person in Tucson (central and east side).

We treat anxiety, OCD, trauma, disordered eating, insomnia, depression, ADHD, grief and loss and body image distress. We have therapists who have speciality in working with immigrant and LGBTQ+ communities.

We can bill most BCBS, Aetna, Cigna and United Student Health plans and offer sliding scale private fees.

About Zoe Baccam's Practice

I am a first-generation Asian-American (and an oldest daughter as well), and I believe that my identities have shaped my entire outlook on life. I am also a PhD student, and I study violence and trauma, especially the intergenerational transmission of it) and I plan to use my work as a provider and an academic to uplift the voices of the communities I serve.

I work with clients from all backgrounds who want to work with a provider who takes a holistic and narrative perspective to therapy. I serve as a mirror to reflect your story and ideas off of, and I'm ready to meet you where you're at! My sessions are tele-health only, so I am able to see you at the times that you are available. If you know a teenager or young adult looking for a therapist please let them know about Sage. She works under my clinical supervision. She has extensive experience with teenagers and young adults and came highly recommended by the staff who worked with her at a high school.

She works with teens, college students, and older adults, offering a safe and affirming space, especially for LGBTQ+ clients. She has experience with ADHD, brain injuries, grief, and anxiety.

She can see clients in person in Tucson, and via telehealth anywhere in AZ.

Zoe works with adults experiencing symptoms of trauma, interpersonal challenges, depression, anxiety, and emotional dysregulation. Murphy is a certified therapy dog who is now working with me for my in person clients. He is hypoallergenic and is 15-18 pounds, depending on how many treats he gets! We rescued him 8 years ago and think he is about 9 years old.
