Envision Wellness Acupuncture - Reiki - Herbal Medicine

Our family practice of Asian Medicine includes acupuncture, reiki, and herbal medicine for all stages of life–from infancy to chronic, long-standing health issues. Asian Medicine helps you to increase your wellness, vitality, and quality of life through a holistic system of diagnosis and treatment, developed over thousands of years. At Envision Wellness, we hope for you to envision the life you want to live, and we are here to help you reach your highest potential. Acupuncture and herbal medicine are two central modalities within Asian Medicine. Other modalities include Reiki (Japanese energy healing), electro-acupuncture, Tui Na (massage), cupping (a vacuum created on the skin surface), moxibustion (heat therapy), nutrition, exercise/ fitness, and Gua Sha (friction therapy). Asian Medicine employs unique diagnostic principles and techniques to identify patterns of disharmony within an individual, and to determine potential environmental pathogens and disruptive lifestyle patterns. We examine every aspect of one’s medical history and current health status. Current and past symptoms, along with detailed observation of the tongue, pulse, and other findings from a physical exam, are all clues as to why physiological processes may not be functioning optimally. We then select appropriate combinations of acupuncture, herbal medicine, and other modalities to correct these physiological imbalances, relieve pain, and optimize health. Our clinical specialties include:
- Pain (acute & chronic): back, neck, extremities, headaches & migraines
- Internal Medicine: digestive, cardiovascular, hormonal
- Pediatrics: allergies, asthma, ADD/ADHD, colds & flus
- Healthy Aging: stroke rehab and prevention, memory care
- Special Needs Populations: developmental & neurological impairment
