Hi friends, We regret to inform you that, due to unforeseen circumstances, we must cancel the Night of Hope event that is scheduled for Friday, April 24th at Calvary Tucson East.

We are truly grateful for your interest and support, and we are hopeful to reschedule this special evening in the near future. Please keep an eye out for updates regarding a new date. Mayra Rodriguez and Denisha Workizer are looking forward to sharing their powerful stories when we are able to gather together.

As we celebrate 45 Years of Hope, we are inviting members of our community who once faced an unexpected pregnancy and received support through Hands of Hope Tucson (Formerly Crisis Pregnancy Center)to share their journey.

Maybe you remember the moment you first walked through our doors.
Maybe you remember the encouragement, the compassion, or the guidance that helped you choose life.

Today, that decision may be a child, a teenager, or even an adult—a living legacy of hope.

Hands of Hope Tucson sincerely thanks Grace Church Sahuarita for their incredible support—what a blessing to partner with a congregation whose generosity and kindness shine so brightly. We dropped off our baby crib as this March, Grace Church Sahuarita will host another diaper drive and baby shower to help Tucson families who choose life for their unborn babies. We are deeply grateful for the essential baby items this effort will provide and the joy it will bring to moms and babies alike. Your thoughtful partnership embodies the heart of service and community, and we are thankful beyond words for your ongoing generosity, collaboration, and faith-driven impact. A special thank you to Ashley McGuire for her coordinating efforts!! We look forward to seeing how the Lord moves through your gracious and caring congregation in the days ahead.

Origins: How it Began in 1981

In 1981, a small group of dedicated community members in Tucson recognized a pressing need for compassionate, nonjudgmental support for women facing unplanned pregnancies. They envisioned a place where every person could access accurate information, practical resources, and confidential guidance to help them make informed decisions about their futures. From this shared conviction, Crisis Pregnancy Center of Tucson was founded.

Key moments in the early years:
Community-driven beginnings:
Volunteers and local supporters pooled resources to open a modest clinic that prioritized respect, dignity, and empowerment.

Holistic outreach:
Beyond pregnancy testing, the center offered counseling, education on prenatal care, parenting support, and referrals to community services.

Growth through partnerships: Collaboration with local churches, healthcare providers, and social service agencies helped extend reach and deepen trust within the community.

Commitment to life and choice:
The core mission was to support women in choosing life whenever possible, while also honoring and empowering individuals to explore all options with comprehensive information and empathetic care.

Over time, the organization evolved to better reflect its mission and the people it serves. It emerged as Hands of Hope Tucson, a name that embodies both the tenderness of care and the steadfast commitment to life-affirming support.

A beautiful night to remember: Hands of Hope Tucson presented the Legacy of Love event. Last night was a true testament to love, dedication, and passion as we showcased our amazing young Kaleo board members.

We're so thankful for the many volunteers who came with willing hearts to create a beautiful, inviting space and decorated, cleaned, shopped & prepped with incredible precision! What a dream team!
