🧑‍🏫 Yesterday, we participated in a training session with the Community Transportation Association of America (CTAA).

♿ The session provided valuable and practical information focused on proper wheelchair securement, including key dos and don’ts to ensure passenger safety. The training consisted of instructional videos, written materials, and concluded with a hands-on component where we practiced loading and unloading wheelchairs using CTAA-recommended techniques.

🚐 Overall, it was a very informative and beneficial training that reinforced best practices and improved our confidence in safely securing and transporting wheelchair passengers.

✨ Expanding our opportunities for training with other organizations that specialize in community transportation and safety greatly benefit our team. Not only does it continue to elevate our safety standards, but it also allows us to build stronger partnerships within the community while further strengthening our staff’s safety skills and preparedness.
