If Steve, the hair, Harrington was my client, we’d be exploring how his confidence is shaped by who he thinks he needs to be, not who he actually is. From overcompensating and performing to slowly learning what it feels like to be accepted without earning it, Steve’s character shows how self-worth tied to external validation can shape the way we show up in relationships. Overtime, we see how that leads to people-pleasing, insecurity, and pushing away the people who matter most. Then he gets put into a role he doesn’t even want, and somehow that’s where everything starts to shift. In what ways do you relate to Steve?

Sometimes the most healing moment in therapy isn’t learning a new coping skill. It’s realizing your patterns make sense.

Your reactions weren’t random.
They were adaptive.

Understanding trauma doesn’t excuse harmful behavior, but it does explain where it started. And that explanation can be the beginning of real change.

You’re not broken.
You adapted. 💜

AI is everywhere these days. We’re all using it for work, ideas, reminders, and even guidance on personal stuff. And it’s no surprise people are leaning on it for mental health, too.

That said, it’s still just a tool. One that works best alongside therapy, not instead of it. A therapist can help you:
• Make sense of AI insights
• Practice strategies safely in real life
• Notice what actually helps you

Use AI to explore. Use therapy to integrate. Together, they can help you reflect, experiment, and grow. 💜

Anxiety doesn’t always look like panic. Sometimes it’s silent worry, overthinking, or that feeling in your chest that won’t go away.
It’s your body’s alarm system trying to protect you, even when there’s no real danger.

Awareness, grounding, breaking things down, and connection are all ways to work with it instead of against it.
You are not your anxiety. You are someone learning how to respond, regulate, and live with more ease. 💜

Valentine’s Day can make love feel performative: big gestures, big expectations, big pressure.

But the love that lasts is steady. It’s thoughtful. It’s practiced in ordinary moments.

This year, look for love beyond roses. 🌹
It might already be all around you.

Conflict doesn’t go away just because we want it to, but it can land differently.

Instead of powering through and letting it get out of control, try calling a parley. A mutual pause that allows you to:
• regulate before reacting
• protect the relationship
• come back with intention

Pause isn’t avoidance.
It’s investing in connection.

Save this for the next time things get heated. And follow for more!

Starting therapy can feel intimidating. Especially if you think you have to do it “right.”
You don’t.

Curiosity, honesty, and showing up are more than enough.
The rest gets figured out together.
