is deeply honored to be selected as a Viva South Tucson Mini-Grant recipient. We are grateful to everyone that voted, , and for making all of this happen.

This grant will directly support improvements to our garden space, with the help of , allowing us to expand its role as both a healing environment and a shared community resource. With these funds, we will be:

🌱 Enhancing water-harvesting systems
🌱 Repairing and improving irrigation
🌱 Expanding both the community-accessible and private garden areas

These upgrades will help us create a more sustainable, resilient, and welcoming space for everyone who visits Moroso Medical Center.

We have been in Sourh Tucson for 5 years now. It means more than I can say to be seen and accepted my community.

Thank you to the City of South Tucson and to everyone who champions community, alternative wellness, bad ass plants, yoga, cannabis, inclusivity, simply being a little f’ing nice and spreading a kiss of rainbows and glitter. We are truly grateful for your support and excited to keep growing—literally and figuratively—together.

This awesome grant possibility!

There are some rad small businesses in South Tucson! So many to consider for this opportunity.

If we were to get this grant, the money would stay with other small businesses as we would continue to work at our water harvesting friendly garden. We exclusively work with to achieve this goal. We buy all supplies and plants from and .

The exterior garden is already feeding residents of South Tucson. Folks, mainly abuelitas, come with small bags or aprons for the figs and jujubes! They even beat the birds to the harvest!👵🏼

Tomorrow’s Saturday Stretch we will be celebrating Al Foul and Figs! Sounds like a strange combo? It is Al’s Bday and Al loved Fig Trees - so it’s a quirky Tucson combo that fits.

Learn about the medicinal properties of the Fig tree, do some delicious stretching to an amazing sound track of Al’s music plus some of his favorites and try some amazing fig leaf ice cream!! If you have never tried fig leaf - it will blow your mind and taste buds.

For the past 20+ years I’ve worked with patients living with HIV/AIDS. Recently I’ve discovered that under the current administration Ryan White services have been cut by 40%. I see patients daily that are under these life services. needs the community support more than ever. Drag, drinks and community ❤️🔥❤️
