At Tanque Verde Pediatrics, we focus on whole child health, which is why oral health is part of our routine well visits. From wiping infant gums to helping toddlers brush to supporting teens with consistent routines, every stage matters.

Fluoride plays an important role in preventing cavities. We offer fluoride varnish for children under 6 during well visits, especially while families are getting established with a dentist.

Our first Newborn Basics class filled up quickly, and we had such a great response from families that we’re excited to offer another session!

Join the pediatricians at Tanque Verde Pediatrics for a supportive, interactive class designed to help parents feel confident and prepared for life with a newborn. We’ll cover essential newborn care, feeding basics, sleep safety, when to call your pediatrician and even take some time to practice diapering and swaddling!

As temperatures rise, UV exposure increases and small daily habits make a big difference. Plan outdoor time wisely, use shade and protective clothing, stay hydrated, and apply SPF 30+ sunscreen consistently.

Healthy kids should play outside, we just want them protected while they do!
