The Swisher Memorial Hospital Foundation was established in 2007 to support Swisher Memorial Hospital an accredited 20-bed critical access hospital. Located in Tulia, Texas, the hospital has served the health needs of Swisher County and surrounding area for more than 85 years. In partnership with physicians and other regional healthcare providers, Swisher Memorial Hospital provides superior healthcare services to meet the needs of the nearly 8,000 citizens of Swisher and surrounding counties. Donations to the Foundation are used to fulfill some of the critical needs of the hospital. Projects considered for funding include capital improvements to the facility, new or replacement equipment and technology, enhanced and additional patient services and community health education. Happy National Library Workers Day from Swisher Memorial Healthcare System! Today we're proud to celebrate the Swisher County Library — a community treasure that began in 1921 with just 100 books in a corner of the City Drug Store and has grown into a remarkable 5,000-square-foot resource center housing over 12,000 books, eBooks, eAudiobooks, and public access computers for all of Swisher County to enjoy. We also want to give a huge shoutout to our school librarians who spark a love of reading in our youngest community members every single day! To all of our library workers — THANK YOU!

Every great patient experience starts with a familiar face and a kind word — and at Swisher Memorial Healthcare System, that's our admitting clerks.
The first Friday of April is set aside each year to recognize these incredible frontline professionals who do so much more than paperwork. They verify insurance, manage registrations, and most importantly — they are often the very first person a patient sees when they walk through our doors.
That first interaction matters. Especially on hard days.
Our admitting clerks bring calm, compassion, and a welcoming presence to every single person who comes to us for care. They work quietly behind the scenes and on the front lines — and today, we want to make sure they know how valued they truly are.
