⚠️ Patient Safety Update ⚠️

We want to make our patients aware of a situation happening in our area. Some patients have reported receiving phone calls from a company called Bio Genetics Laboratory, or some report no name was given, claiming to be from our office and stating that our providers want to send them mouth swabs for genetic or DNA testing. In some cases, the phone number even appears to be our clinic number.

Please know:
👉 We will never order or send testing like this without first talking to you in person or during your visit.
👉 We will never ask for personal or insurance information over the phone unless you contacted us first.
👉 Phone numbers can be “spoofed,” which means it may look like we are calling even when we are not.

If you receive one of these calls, please hang up and call our office directly. Do not give out any information.

A Few Friendly Reminders About Insurance & Billing 💙

Just a few quick reminders to help things go smoothly at your visits:

✅ Please bring your current insurance card and photo ID to every appointment — even if you’ve been here before.

✅ If your insurance changes, let us know before your appointment so we can update your records.

✅ It’s always a good idea to double-check that your provider is in-network with your insurance plan. While we’re happy to help when we can, it’s each patient’s responsibility to confirm this with their insurance company.

✅ And remember — your insurance policy is between you and your insurance company, so any copays, deductibles, or non-covered services are your responsibility.
