Music has a way of bringing everyone together. 🎶

Residents recently enjoyed a wonderful musical visit from Music With Purpose, featuring talented performers Lee Tucker, Blue Foley, and Kelly Efstathiou. From heartfelt storytelling to creative songwriting and beautiful singing, the afternoon was filled with energy and entertainment.

Their set included everything from beloved hymns to current country favorites, giving everyone something familiar to tap along to and enjoy.

We’re so grateful they chose to share their time and talents with our community. It was a joyful afternoon filled with music, connection, and plenty of smiles. We can’t wait to welcome them back this summer.

A scenic drive turned into a pretty sweet surprise. 🐶

Residents recently enjoyed getting out for a drive and made a special stop at Carla Jones’ home along the way. Waiting to greet them were the cutest visitors — Yorkie puppies, Great Dane puppies, and even a couple of friendly horses.

Everyone loved petting the pups, feeding the horses, and soaking up the fresh air. It was one of those simple outings that quickly turned into a favorite memory.

Behind every scholarship is a student working toward a career that serves others. 🎓

The Morning Pointe Foundation, established by Morning Pointe Senior Living co-founders Greg A. Vital and J. Franklin Farrow, has received the 2026 SOAR Philanthropy Award from the College System of Tennessee - Tennessee Board of Regents, recognizing the organization and its founders for their lasting contributions to students, communities, and workforce development across the state. 🏆

Since 2014, the Morning Pointe Foundation has focused on strengthening the future of caregiving by supporting students pursuing careers in nursing, therapy, social work, and culinary arts, while also offering free caregiver education programs for families navigating aging and memory care.

Together, Morning Pointe Senior Living and the Morning Pointe Foundation have invested more than $2.1 million in Tennessee’s community colleges and technical schools, helping expand educational opportunities and strengthen the workforce that will care for older adults for generations to come.

We are grateful for this recognition and for the many students, schools, and partners who continue to be part of this mission.

A morning full of stories and little listeners. 📚💛

A few of our directors had the joy of celebrating Read Across America by visiting the kindergarteners at Robert E. Lee Elementary School. They spent the morning reading stories, sharing laughs, and watching those bright young faces light up with every page.

Moments like these are such a sweet reminder of how powerful a love of reading can be, especially when it’s shared together.

A big thank you to the students and staff for welcoming us and letting us be part of such a special day.
