Your lymph capillaries pick up lymph fluid in between your cells. Lymph fluid is primarily protien, fat, water, cell debris, and bacteria and toxins...aka waste. Your vessels collect the lymph and send it to the nodes, your little filters, here is where the WBC and immunity attack and destroy the junk that makes us sick, tired and puffy. The cleaned lymph travels to the ducts near the clavicle, primarily the thoracic duct. This is where it dumps it back into the subclavian vein... blood stream. Then it becomes part of ghe blood that is sent to the liver and kidneys where excess becomes urine and stool. Kind of amazing.
