We are so thrilled to introduce our amazing new provider with you all! Some may have met her this week as she rounded with Dr. Hayden. Let’s give a warm welcome and say hello to Vail!

Vail Phipps PA-C

Vail graduated from the Physician Assistant program at OSU-CHS here in Tulsa. Vail is Tulsa born and bred and returned after completing her undergraduate at the University of Oklahoma. She has now started to settle down in Tulsa with her highschool sweetheart turned husband, in 2023. Vail has always had a strong passion for kiddos, from church nurseries to babysitting to now being a pediatric medical provider! She enjoys surfing at the lake, OU football gamedays, and spending time with family. Vail is excited to be a part of the Utica Pediatrics team and to start seeing and treating your kids!

Hello Utica Pediatrics family, We are back to regular hours and can’t wait to see all our friends!
We are also very excited to see what 2026 has in store for us and we have a special gift for our first baby of 2026!

Just a heads up, with the New Year please have insurance cards and ID’s ready when you check in. With our new system everyone will have to fill out new paperwork- please be patient with us during this time.

Monday & Tuesday 8:00am -5:00pm closed 12:00pm- 2:00pm for lunch.
Wednesday we will only be in office 8:00am- 12:00pm.

Dr. Sarah Hayden - Pediatrician / owner

The woman, the myth, the legend, the best boss/ pediatrician you could ask for- Dr. Sarah Hayden!
Dr. Hayden graduated from OSU’s College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her pediatric residency through OSU as well. She is a Tulsa-area native and loved having most of her pediatric training at the Children’s Hospital at Saint Francis. She married the Utica Pediatrics Building Manager in 2007, and they have two children together. Their children are her pride and joy.
Dr. Hayden loves caring for your children, and if you are around her for very long, you will likely hear her say some variation of:
“I see my role as being part of your team, supporting you and helping you raise these turkeys to be good, healthy humans.”, “Raising these children is both the best and hardest thing you will ever do. I’m here to help, not make it harder.”, “I have the greatest job in the world!”, “I get to spend my days taking care of and hanging out with your kids. That will never not be amazing.”, or “I share too much. I’m kind of awkward. I will hug your babies and tell them I love them. Because I do.”
She is also known for her Dr. pepper addiction, and going above and beyond for her patients, staff, and family. Let’s show her some love!!

Drew Hayden - Building manager

Drew became the Utica Pediatrics Building Manager in 2021. He is YouTube trained and is on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week for building issues and maintenance. He is the only member of the team that isn’t in the office full time, so he sometimes feels left out, but he’s a vital part of keeping things running smoothly. He loves a to do list and his behind-the-scenes work doesn’t go unnoticed, he is greatly appreciated!

Kaley Dixon - Office Manager/Billing

Kaley joined Utica Pediatrics in 2022 as Dr. Hayden's nurse. July 2025 Kaley was promoted to Office/ billing manager. She's married and has four children. Outside of the office, Kaley and her family enjoy time with their two dogs (Moose & Coco), camping, and spending time outdoors. On her free time Kaley coaches cheerleading and enjoys attending her children's sports events. Kaley's favorite color is pink, and she's known for addiction to Starbuck's coffee.
