Today this email was sent out. What is says is that I (being a 3rd party) can't access your medportal. Which means I can't help you file your paperwork.

I feel a personal responsibility for every person who calls my phone. You're my patient. I've never raised my price, even with the rising costs of everything else. I kept it the same for you. Because I know your life is getting more expensive too. These med cards are a necessity. This medicine changes people lives. It's been hard. Lots of things have changed. And I've had to change along with them.

A lot of times I want to give up, but that's what they want right? When people text me and say "are you still doing med cards?" I always respond with "they're not getting rid of me."

At this point I can not help you file your paperwork but I can still be a reliable source to get your doctor recommendation. I am ACTIVELY working on a solution for YOU.

Let's remember to be kind to the OMMA call center folks when we call them. They didn't do this. They just clock in and have to deal with the 1000s of angry people all day.

Almost 4 hours on hold and this is what I was told.

If you are receiving the error code you need to call in and report it. I asked about the patients I help and she said THEY must call in. I can't call in for them.

When I asked about not being able to access the log in page at all she said she would "let them know."

This is a mess. More than a mess. I will be calling patients to re register and see if we can get in, then have them call omma i guess. I hate this. I'm so sorry for the delay.

Another quick reminder...
I do NOT send out the physical cards. I get you submitted and approved and OMMA sends the cards out.
I had a patient get her new card in the mail and sent me a picture of it. It looked bad. Not laminated correctly. Looks completely different from the old ones. I get her frustration. But I don't have anything to do with the physical card being printed and sent out.
