Yoga with Leta Certified Yoga Therapist with IAYT (C-IAYT) & Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance I work with people in a 1:1 setting through Yoga Therapy.

I am a Certified Yoga Therapist with IAYT (C-IAYT) & a Yoga Alliance 200-hour Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 200) in Tulsa, OK. I also teach more traditional yoga classes in a variety of asana styles - or physical yoga poses. These styles include:

• Therapeutic
• Flow oriented yoga (also known as Vinyasa)
• Alignment-Oriented
• Gentle
• Chair
• Pre- & Post-Natal
• Relaxation-Focused
• Heated Yoga - similar to Hot Yoga, but rather than focusing on a hot room we use a warm room & focus on building internal heat

I practice yoga because it makes me happy and keeps me centered. I teach because I love to watch people learning about themselves through yoga, and to see them realize that yoga can help them feel better outside and in. I experienced my first yoga practice in 2002 and I've been coming back to yoga ever since. I love that you are always able to learn something about yourself from yoga - both physically and mentally. I decided to deepen my knowledge and understanding of yoga and completed my Yoga Teacher Training through YogaFit in 2015. I received my certification with the International Association of Yoga Therapists through Susi Hately of Functional Synergy in the beginning on 2022. I believe that everyone can do yoga, and that your practice should work for you and grow with you. I am all about finding your own expression of every pose in a safe way.

Have you ever tried Yoga Nidra? It’s one of my favorite things. It’s a brilliant way to deepen your body awareness, and it’s a great way to work on your “meditation skills” if you’re someone who feels that 1)meditating “isn’t for them” or 2)can’t “focus enough” to meditate (or gets bored 😳).

This workshop will begin with some gentle yoga movement (asana) before transitioning down to our mats for a 45-minute Yoga Nidra.

Yoga Nidra is commonly referred to as “Yogic Sleep”. The best way that I can describe my offering of this practice (which like all things in Yoga is wide and varied) is an in-depth body scan using meditation and building your awareness and presence in your body and in your consciousness. (Think very in-depth Savasana.)
