Frame of the week!!

Today is a special milestone for me—20 years at this office. 🤍

What started as just a job quickly became something so much more. Over the years, this place has become like a second home, and the people here—both our team and our patients—have become like family.

I’m incredibly grateful for the trust our patients have placed in us and for the relationships that have been built along the way. It has truly been an honor to serve this community and be part of so many lives over the years.

To our team—thank you for walking through the busy days, the challenges, and the victories together. And to our patients—thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your care and your story.

20 years later, I’m still thankful, still learning, and still love what I get to do every day. I truly believe God has guided every step of this journey, and I’m excited to see what He has ahead. ✨—— Layla

American Optical was featured on an ABC segment recently and the video is worth checking out! Take a look into the factory near Chicago where AO has been handmaking frames since 1833! AO frames have been worn by many historical figures, such as JFK and Malcolm X. They also notably made the Original Pilot, which was commissioned by the US military in 1935 to create a specialized sunglass for pilots.
