We love getting photos from our clients showing us how their landscapes have grown in! This one was especially fun, from all the stonework to the custom steps, and choosing shady woodland plants.

Cliff Goldenrod (Solidago drummondii)
Tall Goldenrodd (Solidago gigantea)
Purple Coneflower (Echinacea purpurea)
Marginal Wood Fern (Dryopteris marginalis)

Before and After! Our client wanted to do the planting and mulching herself, so she hired us to come and do the stone edging to match what we had done last year in the large corner of the yard.

We provide a wide range of services and are happy to help with any phase of a project you’re needing! We offer designs and consultations, as well as plant sourcing and delivery, so that you can be involved and plant on your own, if you want to 🌸

Decorative Garden Wall ✅

Our client collected all of these materials from various places. She let us be creative and insisted on finding a special place for the chicken! 🐔

We love how this turned out! It was a lot of fun, and quite different than any other project.

If you’re interested in getting a quote for masonry/stonework projects, don’t hesitate to reach out to us! 🪨⛏️

A few natives we planted last year for a client; all thriving! This bed was installed in the south west corner of her yard, where all the rainwater runoff was pooling. We built a corner retaining wall with a French drain system to help redirect the excess water.

Then we added a variety of natives that can tolerate seasonal flooding and partial sun.

1. Swamp Milkweed (Asclepias incarnata)
2. Marsh Phlox (Phlox Glaberrima)
3. Ohio Spiderwort (Tradescantia ohiensis)

*not pictured: Big Bluestem (Andropogon gerardii), Sweet Coneflower (Rudbeckia subtomentosa), Anise Hyssop (Agastache foeniculum), and more!

Are you a “do-it-yourself-er” but need help getting started? We offer a design service for native gardens and landscapes that gives you all the information you need to do it yourself!

Design package prices range from $75 - $1,500 depending on size and scope of work. The higher end of that range is typically for large, blank slate or in-depth permaculture and food forest designs.

Design packages include digital mockups, scale layouts, and detailed plant lists. Maintenance and installation guidance information is also included.

The process is pretty simple! You send me pictures of your area, or I can come and meet with you in person. I will take measurements and notes on how much sun an area gets, type of soil, etc. During the design process i will check in with you to make sure you’re liking the aesthetic and plant choices.

Then, I will put together a document for you that you can view on your computer or print out.

I will also provided local sources for acquiring the plants.

Another note: if you have non-natives in your landscape that work for you and you want to keep them we are totally okay with working those into the design, however we will never recommend non-natives. There are plenty of options for natuvws to achieve the look you’re going for.

Here are some examples!

We are now offering general maintenance including but not limited to: lawn mowing/trimming/edging, tree and shrub pruning, weeding and mulching.

We do not use any chemicals/pesticides/herbicides. We offer sustainable and eco-friendly solutions for various problems in the yard, such as organic insecticidal soap and diatomaceous earth for pests, mechanical removal of invasive species, and methods such as solarizing and smothering.

Majority of our tools and equipment are electric/battery powered as well!

If you are interested in getting a quote, please send us a message and we will get you a rate based on size of area and scope of work.

Hey friends! We are working on changing our business name- Facebook has not approved it yet and we’re not sure what the problem is.

Anyways, we are now called Keystone Nature Scapes! Here is a sneak peek of our logo. Still have some editing to do, but we’re planning on getting some merch and metal yard signs made.

Thank you to all that have trusted in us and continue to support us. It means the world.

This was an install we did in spring of 2024. We built a retaining wall with a French drain system to remedy the erosion and pooling water issue in the lawn. Some things we planted: Little Bluestem (Schizachyrium scoparium), Purple Coneflower (Echinacea purpurea), Butterfly W**d (Asclepias tuberosa), Prairie Milkweed (Asclepias sullivantii) and Ohio Spiderwort (Tradescantia ohiensis). It was so fun to see how everything has grown in! Our client added in Crepe Myrtle’s, a Dogwood tree and Alliums.

Before and After. We removed several boxwood and Indian hawthorn shrubs and replaced with Oklahoma native grasses, wildflowers and groundcover. The last photos are the digital sketches (minus the scale layouts).
